Dunstable Town won the Saracens Herts League Division Two title as they triumphed by five wickets at Baldock.

Knowing victory would secure top spot, Dunstable were asked to bowl as Baldock collapsed from 89-3 to 111 all out with Mike Alston taking five quick wickets.

Dunstable’s reply wobbled at times, before Sam Cherry steadied the ship with 44 as they reached 115-5 in just 19 overs.

Mohammed Irshad produced a superb spell of bowling as Luton Town & Indians finished seventh in Division One after a four-wicket success against Hitchin.

Irshad claimed a brilliant 8-65 from 18.4 overs as the visitors were all out for 171 in the 53rd over.

Luton then slumped to 126-6, before Nikhil Mandale’s 79 not out from 98 balls, plus an undefeated 17 from Divyesh Patel saw Luton reach 174-6 in 37.2 overs.
