Hatters hand teenager Jones his first pro contract
Hatters Luton youngster Avan Jones has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The teenage right back has been with Town’s academy since 2009 and was awarded his scholarship after being involved at both U16 and U18 level.

Hide AdHe will continue his development in the U23 set-up alongside fellow young pros Jake Peck, Corey Panter, Josh Neufville, Sam Beckwith and Tiernan Parker, who will all remain at the club.
Two other second-year scholars, midfielder Josh Boorn and forward Jonas Kalonda, have both left Town after serving their apprenticeship.
Meanwhile, seven of the Hatters’ U16 squad, Josh Allen, Eddie Corbitt, Aidan Francis, Ed McJannet, Tyrelle Newton, Josh Swan and Adam Wedd have been offered scholarships with the academy.
