Riddaway gets England call
Last year, Josh trialled for the first time and missed out by one frame, but this time around, he stormed through, winning all six matches to become the winner of the trials and the one person to qualify on the Saturday.
Riddaway’s first duty as an England player will be to compete in the internal trials in Yarmouth at the end of March, at which time the England manager will pick the nine players from the squad that she will take to the World Championships in Blackpool at the end of June.
